Steve is the Veteran of the Epsom Downs side. Ever reliable, Steve was the 08/09 EDFC Managers Player of The Season thanks largely to his solid and reliable performances.
A Full Back by trade, Steve still bangs on at the management to give him his chance up front. His argument based on the 1 time he did go up front he scored! 1 game 1 goal is regular sentence he strings together.
Steve has been comsidering retirement for a while now but each year he keeps coming back to pre season and telling himself '1 more year'. The Downs are more than glad to have him on board. A true legend.
